Have you ever wondered about the chemicals in your flea treatments?
Ingredients in these are very toxic. If they weren't, they would not have to write on the packaging things like "dispose of this container in a responsible manner, do not let contents come in contact with your skin, wash hands after use." etc...
According to research chemicals in flea treatments have caused serious health problems in animals tested in laboratories. Some of these reactions include; vomiting, diarrhea, trembling, seizures, and respiratory problems.
We put these toxic substances onto our precious dogs skin, and it remains in their blood stream for up to a month? Does this make sense?
We encourage our customers to do their own research on products they are using to be able to make well informed decisions.
Our natural alternative is very effective as the active ingredients are not toxic to your dog, but have a devastating effect on fleas.
We have seen fleas that come in contact with the product stagger, and fall off. The odor scrambles the brain function of the fleas.
Our Flea Flummox contains distilled water, chitosan, derived from shrimp/crab shell, which forms a low allergenic, antimicrobial gel base, our blend of ten herbs and essential oils, and extracts of cedar wood and neem. The advantage of this product is it does not have a menthol smell that often dogs have a distinct dislike to. Our dog sits and wags her tail when we bring it out! Ok for cats if applied to inside of soft cat collar. I have successfully used this product on my pedigree kittens (on back of neck) at 4 wks without problems. Where possible with cats apply to inside soft collar, but if not, this product cant possibly be as toxic as the chemical treatments applied onto the skin.
How to use this product:
For dogs you can either take some in the eye dropper and run it down dogs spine, or you can apply it to the inside of their collar. You could do both. ie For a 20 kilo dog, around 1 ml dribbled down the spine. It is not critical you use exactly that much but a general guide. For kittens and puppies, a few drops on the back of the head. For cats inside the collar is preferable. But if a collar is not an option, then do the same as for the kittens.
